
Distressed
I wrote this tutorial on 07/24/08 and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Please do not claim it as your own. All materials and tubes used are copyrighted to their respective owners and credit will be given if known. This tutorial assumes you have a Good working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: Paint Shop Pro (I used 12 but it can be done in any version) ube of Choice (I used the beautiful artwork of myself LOL) You can purchase my "Chubbies" HERE Font of choice (PassionsConflictROB) Scrap Kit Freebie "Distressed" by Lisa Mask Layer HERE
Open all supplies in PSP and minimize for now.
Open a new 600 x 600 canvas and flood fill with white.
Copy and paste the mask layer.
Copy and paste the frame. Then add a drop shadow of 2, -2, 50 and 5.00.
Copy and paste the tag and resize by 50%. Give it the same drop shadow as before.
Copy and past the bird doodle and give it the same drop shadow.
Copy and paste your tube. Resize if need and position it. Go to effects, image effects, Sepia Tone and the setting is 48. Give it the same drop shadow as before.
Copy and paste the beads, do not resize, and give it the same drop shadow as before. Take your eraser and erase some off the ends.
Copy and paste the two flowers and resize by 60%. Give it the same drop shadow as before.
You are now ready for your text!
I used a gold gradient.
Write out your text then convert to raster layer. Apply the same drop shadow as before.
Don't forget to add your watermark and the copyright info.
